Jig for Sandy

Scoil Ard Rince Dancers will be dancing a ‘Sandy Jig’ this Sunday 25th November for Australia’s biggest Dance-A-Thon to raise fund for victims of Hurricane Sandy.

At 11am Qld time, more than a thousand Irish Dancers across Australia will ‘Jig for Sandy’. Every dancer, from as young as 3 years old to over 30, will dance, at the same time, in hundreds of locations across Australia. All participants will be making a donation to help the American Irish Dancing community affected by Hurricane Sandy.

Join us at Suttons Beach, Redcliffe this Sunday at 10:30 for an 11am start. Bring along some morning tea and enjoy a relaxing Sunday on the Redcliffe foreshore – while helping those in need!

Everyone is welcome to join in – We look forward to seeing you all there!

The Australian Irish Dancing Assocciation would like to thank Sean O’Brien for supplying the tune for ‘Jig for Sandy’. You can check out Sean’s website at: http://thepropheteermusic.com/
